Decisamente troppa carne al fuoco in questo thriller norvegese. Il lettore viene condotto in strane circonvoluzioni, attraverso storie che a fatica si incastrano le une nelle altre, racconta dettagliatamente cose che poi a malapena servono a qualcosa nell'economia della trama, finché, quando ormai da tempo il lettore ha capito chi è l'assassino, l'autore cerca di sbrogliare la matassa raccontando di nuovo la storia dal punto di vista dell'assassino stesso, scomodando nel frattempo un po' troppe malattie genetiche e un po' troppo DNA.


This Norwegian thriller has bitten off more than it can chew. The reader is led into strange convolutions, through stories that barely fit into each other, it tells in detail things that barely serve to something in the economy of the plot, until, when the reader has long since figured out who is the  murderer, the author tries to unravel the tangle retelling the story from the killer's point of view, bringing in the meantime into it a little too many genetic diseases and a little too much DNA.
