 Il passato torna per l'ispettore Stride, sotto forma dell'omicidio, ancora irrisolto, della sorella della sua defunta moglie.
E tra passato e presente tutti i personaggi sono costretti ad andare nel fondo di se stessi, tra abusi e perversioni, per ritrovare se stessi e la loro umanità.
Bello, ben scritto e ben tradotto.
Una prece invece per il titolo italiano.


The past comes back for inspector Stride, in the form of the murder, still unsolved, of the sister of his late wife.
And amidst past and present all the characters are forced to go to the bottom of themselves, including abuse and perversions, to find themselves and their humanity.
Beautiful, well-written and well translated.
Instead a prayer for the Italian title.
