Hap e Leonard sono stanchi e invecchiati, hanno bisogno di mettersi le pantofole, o forse Lansdale si è stancato di abbigliare a nuovo la trama costante di tutti i libri della serie, fatto sta che questo episodio non è particolarmente soddisfacente, soprattutto nella prima parte, che sta in piedi a fatica. La seconda parte fila decisamente meglio, ma solo perché il mestiere prende il sopravvento sulla stanchezza.
Nonostante ciò, Lansdale è sempre Lansdale, ed è meglio averlo letto piuttosto che no.


Hap and Leonard are tired and aged, they need to put on their slippers, or perhaps Lansdale got tired of dress forward the ongoing storyline of all the books in the series, the fact is that this episode is not particularly satisfactory, especially in the first part, that struggle standing. The second part is a lot better, but only because the expertise takes over the tiredness.
Nevertheless, Lansdale is always  Lansdale, and it's better than not having read it.
