Come spesso succede, Lansdale utilizza ingredienti presenti in qualsiasi cucina letteraria, meglio se dozzinali e di qualità non proprio impeccabile, per costruire un libro divertente e accattivante.
La morte ci sfida potrebbe essere il solito libro sugli zombie, e invece, pur non essendo un capolavoro, riesce a farsi strada nella memoria di chi di libri di questo genere ne ha letti veramente tanti, e a conquistare un suo posto tra i punti di riferimento.


As often happens, Lansdale uses ingredients which are in any literary kitchen, preferably cheesy and of not really impeccable quality, to build a fun and engaging book.
Death in the West could be the usual book about zombies, and instead, while not a masterpiece, manages to make his way in the memory of those of books of this kind has read a lot, and win its place among the landmarks .
