Pare incredibile, ma quando degli aspiranti suicidi si trovano a volersi suicidare tutti insieme, nello stesso luogo e nello stesso momento, finisce sempre che fondano una specie di gruppo di autoaiuto. Succede nei Piccoli suicidi tra amici di Paasilinna, e succede anche qui. In questo caso gli aspiranti sono quattro, ed hanno apparentemente dei motivi serissimi per porre termine alla loro vita terrena, motivi serissimi che possono essere riassunti, per tutti, in uno solo: mancanza di pubblico. E così, a quattro voci, raccontano le loro storie e come quel tentativo di suicidio cambia man mano la loro vita, anche e soprattutto perché finalmente, gli uni negli altri, hanno trovato il pubblico di cui hanno bisogno.
Il libro è divertente, in alcuni momenti esilarante, ma non fondamentale.


It seems incredible, but when suicides want to commit suicide together, in the same place and same time, it always ends that they establish a sort of self-help group. It happnes among Paasilinna's A Charming Mass Suicide, and it also happens here. In this case, the aspirants are four, and they apparently have very serious reasons to end their earthly life, very serious reasons that can be summarized, for all, into one: lack of audience. And so, for four voices, they tell their stories and how the suicide attempt changes their lives, not least because finally, one in the other, they found the audience they need.
The book is fun, in some moments hilarious, but not essential.
