Qualcuno pensa che l'ambiente della ricerca, soprattutto nel campo della letteratura, sia qualcosa di tranquillo, con l'atmosfera di un tè di campagna. Invece quello che succede, pur con le forme della più squisita cortesia, spesso assomiglia alla ricerca di un serial killer compiuta da un boss mafioso.
Un libro immenso, coltissimo, che intreccia la storia dell'amore segreto tra due poeti vittoriani con quella dei due ricercatori che inseguono le prove di questa storia, innamorandosi a loro volta, tra un susseguirsi di colpi di scena, più o meno letterari.

An immense book, very eruditet, that weaves the secret love story between two Victorian poets with the one of the two researchers who chase the evidence of this history, falling in love in turn, between a succession of twists and turns, more or less literary.
