Iniziato malvolentieri a causa della scarsa impressione che mi fece Corri, coniglio, si è rivelato di spessore decisamente superiore, nonostante la traduzione spesso traballante, e non a caso ha vinto il Pulitzer. Siamo negli anni '80 e l'America sta definitivamente perdendo l'innocenza, il petrolio sale di prezzo e le macchine americane perdono mercato a favore delle più economiche giapponesi, la famiglia si disgrega, i figli odiano i genitori per tutto e il contrario di tutto, il girovita aumenta, a dispetto del golf e delle ore di piscina. Restano i rimorsi e il sesso, pensato, sognato, praticato, e il tentativo di risolvere i propri problemi di coppia scopando le mogli degli amici, attraverso l'istituto consensuale dello scambio.


I started it reluctantly because of the poor impression that I had from Rabbit, run, it proved decidedly profound, despite the translation often flaky, and not surprisingly it won the Pulitzer. We are in the 80s and America is definitely losing her innocence, oil price rises and the american cars lose market in favour of the cheaper japanese, the family breaks up, the children hate their parents for everything and the opposite, the waistline increases, in spite of the golf and the hours spent in the pool.
All that remains is the remorse and the sex, thought, dreamed, practiced, and the attempt to solve the relationship problems screwing the wives of the friends, through the institution of the consensual exchange .
